With the easing of lockdown we have decided that not much will change here at Grinshill Animal Rescue . We will still be operating on a appointment only basis also we are asking for anyone to still wear their mask on site. At the moment we will not be adding to our volunteer dog walking list, sorry I know there are so many that want to come. When this changes I will advertise on all our social media accounts. I know this news will disappoint some of you but with such a small work force of 4 our staff and care of our dogs/cats are our main focus, we hope you understand.
We are 8 miles north of Shrewsbury.
From the east side of Shrewsbury, take the A49 going North towards Whitchurch. Approximately 2 miles after the village of Hadnall, turn left (signposted for the village of Grinshill and The Inn at Grinshill Pub).
Follow the road into the village and 200 yards past the pub, take the 2nd right hand turn. Pass the church bearing left onto a dirt track, through woods. Pass 2 white semi's on the right and the Centre is next, 100 yards on the left hand side of the track.
Alternatively, leave your car in the village or near the Village Hall SY4 3BL and enjoy the walk through the woods.
PLEASE TO NOT ACCESS DIRT TRACK FROM CLIVE, THIS IS UNSUITABLE FOR VEHICLES
However, as our residents need to be fed, cleaned and exercised regularly, we would appreciate it if you would telephone, prior to visiting. We can then organize a suitable time for all as well as ensuring that our current residents can potentially fit into your family.
